VIVICA KEYES is the owner of PRAZEUP Inc. publishing company and a prolific writer with multiple series to her credit, including Valor 2 Victory with real life traumatic stories and answers from victors, survivors, and thrivers.  As an ordained minister, she serves as associate minister at Second Baptist Church (SBC) of Santa Ana, California, and has traveled the world as a missionary.  Vivica is also an independent insurance agent and broker.  msvivica.com

 

TIMSHEL TARBET is a Human Resource Executive and diversity and inclusion thought leader at Providence Health Plan.  She is the Plan’s chief healthcare experience and equity officer, leading healthcare experience, equity initiatives,  and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across the organization. In driving Providence Health Plan’s commitment to advancing true population health, Timshel ensures health equity is integrated into all facets of the enterprise and strategy.

Sharing Experiences and Tactics

PRESENTERS:

Penny Colman, author of numerous books about historic women, including Rosie the Riveter: Women Working on the Home Front in World War II, has promoted women’s history in diverse venues by  giving countless speeches and posting blogs that are illustrated with her photographs of landmarks to women that she has visited for over 30 years.

Lisa Sales is an advocate and policy leader on gender equality, domestic and sexual violence, and public safety.   She was a leader in the successful VAratifyERA campaign in 2020. She now works ardently to ensure the ERA becomes part of the Constitution.

Gwendolyn Quezaire-Presutti’s portrayals of historical women draw on primary historical sources. For the past 20 years she has engaged audiences, giving voice to real life struggles, and triumphs.

Prasidha Padmanabhan is the Co -founder of WEAR (Women for Education, Advocacy & Rights), a student group advocating for inclusion of Women’s History in Virginia school’s curriculum.

Katherine Kitterman is the Historical and Executive Director for Better Days 2020. She has extensive research experience in American women’s history and Mormon history. She is the Women’s History Initiative Coordinator at Utah Historical Society.

Charlotte Mangin, winner of the 2020 Women Transforming Media Award, is a documentary filmmaker with over 20 years of multimedia, fundraising and nonprofit experience, triumphing in PBS’s UNLADYLIKE SERIES.
