Eleanor Roosevelt and the Labor Movement: TONIGHT at 7 P.M

7:00 on Friday, March 11, 2011

The National Women’s History Project is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring a presentation and booksigning by acclaimed author, Brigid O’Farrell, who will discuss her  recently published, She Was One of Us, which documents Eleanor Roosevelt’s involvement in the labor movement.

Given the attack on today’s labor movement, this presentatiaon will be a wonderful opportunity to gain a personal and  historic perspective on such an integral aspect of America’s culture and history.

This even is free and open to the public.

It will held at the office of the National Women’s History Project, 3440 Airway Drive, Suite F, Santa Rosa, CA 95403.  RSVP’s are required so that we can make sure we have enough seating.  Please email your RSVP to nwhp@nwhp.org or call 707-636-2888.  We would appreciate hearing from you by Thursday, March 10th
